Porter Coffee Company
Porter Coffee is a coffee shop based in Seattle, WA founded by Ian Porter. After spending 4 years in Melbourne, Australia studying the craft of espresso. He arrived back in the US to open his own coffee shop in Seattle. Ian takes pride in his barista skills using traditional brewing methods to give a hand-crafted touch to his coffee. It was important to Ian that the Porter Coffee brand represented his relaxed personality as well as his classical interpretation of coffee.

The Logo
Ian Porter is the face of the brand so it just made sense to develop a mark that uses his name as the centerpiece. I decided on cursive letterforms, giving the wordmark a classic feel to align with Ian's barista training.
